Had a lovely time with Hilary Tammer & Gerald today who took part in my 'Two Metre Portrait Challenge'. In a few weeks time they were supposed to be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary taking a cruise around North America and then ending up at their daughters (the lovely Debra Tammer ) who booked me for their daughter Freya's Bat Mitzvah last year.

I asked Hilary & Gerald the secret to staying together for a blissful 50 years and they replied 'For us it's been teamwork, having a sense of humour (possessed in abundance by Gerald together with his ability to continually make me laugh) and sharing lots of interests.

I wish them many congratulations for then and hope they make up for it later on this year or next in style and thanks for truly making my day!
