I had the absolute pleasure of covering Emily & Chris’s wedding the other day at the Mercure Bradford Bankfield Hotel in Shipley, West Yorkshire.
It was an early start with bridal prep around 10:30am and the sun was shining down on us and there was a beautiful blue sky, so perfect weather for a change after all the miserable rain we’d had leading up to the day.
I shot Emily & Chris’s engagement shoot at the Mercure so you’ll remember them from my previous blog. Lovely venue and very local to me which is always a bonus!
What struck me on the day was how I couldn’t detect an ounce of nerves or stress leading up to ceremony. They were both so cool and relaxed throughout…unless they were just good at hiding it.
Their little daughter really did steal the show and was such a sweetheart throughout. I really loved getting shots of the kids messing around with balloons etc. and capturing their reactions. So funny - they really had me in stitches.
