Cliveden House Taplow one of the top Wedding Venues in England
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that exudes style and history and luxury, then Cliveden House has got to be at the top of your list. This Grade 1 listed stately home is one of the most prestigious wedding venues I’ve ever had the pleasure in shooting at and still holds number 1 spot as my favourite venue to take photographs at.
There’s something about the coats of armour in the main entrance hall, the French Dining room with it’s gold leaf and it’s magnificent gardens, perfect for those bridal portraits and one to one shots of the bride and groom.

Built way back in 1666 by the 2nd Duke of Buckingham as a gift to his mistress, Cliveden House has remained a pinnacle of intrigue and glamour for the elite and steeped in history literally inches thick in books (ask to see them when you visit!)
Enriched with antique furniture and period features including coats of armour and a tapestry from France, it has stayed true to its roots whilst also providing a luxurious setting to rest, meet and play…and get married!
Nestled in 376 acres of National Trust grounds, Cliveden House is a luxurious five-star hotel and the most elaborate building I’ve ever set foot in to take wedding photographs.

Kerry & Dave got married there on a perfect Spring day, with daffodils in abundance and glorious sunshine wall to wall (praying that’s just around the corner now!) The light was perfect on the day and I remember the French Dining room just aglow with gold as if it had been cast a magic spell on-so atmospheric it was something else.
